This is me looking with disbelief at the more than 10-feet tall sunflowers I planted on Bunchgrass Lane only three months earlier. Looking to get out of the rat race and build a small business with my sister, I quit my job and moved more than 1300 miles away from my home. We happened upon this lovely slice of heaven and immediately bought it. I'm starting my story in the middle so you don't know all that led up to this moment yet, but I'll fill you in as we go along!  This is only one of the beautiful old buildings on this property. It was used as a farrowing barn for pigs and the wood it is made of is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. In spite of it being more than 100 years old, the little barn is in relatively good repair and we plan to shore it up in its broken places as we work on the property.  Lisa (my sister) and I have said many times during the last three years that we felt like Joshua and Caleb scouting out the land for this perfect place to settle. ...
